What do I with this kid? Nothing works with them. I don’t if I’ll ever reach them.	What can I do to build relationship? If I learn more about them, can I teach them better? What kinds of questions could I ask? Will asking this student about themself help them engage in learning?

All in order to build a Learning Partnership where the students’ goals are visible for the student, and they are able to assess their own work autonomously.
